One of the most popular spots around Lake Sunapee is the Mount Sunapee Adventure Park. If you ever find yourself bored in the Lake Sunapee region, then head over to this multi-faceted park that is perfect for families and people of all ages. Open year round for activities and events, the experience is truly an adventure.
Summer Activities (opens in May)
Canopy Zip-Line Tours and Aerial Challenge Course
There’s no better way to start off your adventure for the day than experiencing the canopy zip-line tour. You will descend from the top of South Peak and from there traverse through a series of zip-lines, rope bridges, and rappelling covering a total distance of 3⁄4 of a mile over the forest floor. The eight zip-lines provide fantastic views of the wildlife below and the mountain backdrop.
Tip: Make sure you call for reservations because tours fill up fast!!
The aerial challenge course is a 32 obstacle course starting at a centered platform in the woods. It features a beginner loop, two intermediate loops, and an advanced loop. The course is perfect for ages six and up as obstacles range from plank bridges, zip lines, monkey vines, rope bridges, and so much more.
Climbing Wall
$25 for six climbs.
Children must be 6 years old or older.
Everyone needs to weigh between 50 and 250 pounds due to the auto-belay system.

Mountain Biking (Rentals available) – 6 Trails, Pump Track, Skills Park
The Evolution Bike Park is a new addition to The Adventure Park offering a full-service mountain bike center. Individuals can rent bikes, receive lessons, or get mechanical support.
The new flow trail is a mile-long trail that winds its way down from South Peak. The second trail, Dirt Serpent, is perfect for families.
It offers several banked turns and even has jumps and terrain for those looking for a challenge.
Disc Golf (18 Holes & Rentals Available)
If you are looking for an entertaining group activity that will give you a little exercise, you should check out the beautiful disc golf course. Players will take the chairlift to the top of South Peak where they will find their first tee of the 18-hole course.
Players will wind their way through the woods, streams, and stone walls as they make their way down the mountainside.
Mini Golf (18 Holes)
Another great group activity at the Adventure Park is The Wild Goose Waters Miniature Golf Course. The 18-hole course is at the bottom of South Peak and is open daily.
Keep your eyes peeled for the three Lake Sunapee lighthouse replicas on the course.
Chair Lift Rides
The chair lift rides are perfect for all ages and are a great way to catch some great pictures of the views. Ride your way to the top of South Peak and continue your adventure on a hike down the hill on the Interpretive Trails. Winter Activities
Skiing/Snowboarding/Snowtubing
If you are feeling a little cooped up during winter, try your hand at the great winter trails at the Adventure Park. The six winding trails at South Peak are well manicured, and whether you are advanced or a beginner, there is a trail that will please everyone.
For those of you who are looking to catch some air, there are multiple terrain parks to choose from – even an AMP airbag jumpers can use. When you need to take a break and warm up for a bit, you can stop in the lodge for some cocoa and a bite to eat.
