The Lake Sunapee Yacht Club is a family-focused, summer-only club located on the western shore of Lake Sunapee in Sunapee NH. The club offers sailing, tennis and swimming programs for juniors and is also the host of a large inland fleet of Star class one design racing boats.
The Club is host to 23 Starboats, one of the largest inland fleets of the Olympic-class vessel. The Sunapee Starboat Regatta is the largest unsanctioned sailing event in the USA.
The club also hosts a fireworks display every year around the 4th of July. Check our events calendar for the exact date and time.
The LSYC is a private club, however one does not have to be a member of the LSYC to sail a Star on Lake Sunapee. For more information, contact the Fleet Captain, David Cook or Lt. of Fleet Racing, Scott Beckman.
