SUMMARY:David M. Carroll Class at The Currier: Drawn to Nature
DESCRIPTION:Dates: This class meets daily from 1:00-4:00 pm\, week of July 23-27 (Mon.-Fri.) \nInspired by the Currier Museum of Art’s upcoming exhibit Beyond Words\, you’ll have the unique opportunity to meet and learn from David M. Carroll\, naturalist\, illustrator\, author\, and recipient of the John Burroughs’s Medal\, a MacArthur Fellowship and a National Book Award finalist. \nNature and landscape have always been an inspiration\, and artists throughout time have wanted to document what they see. In this class you’ll learn how to decipher the landscape (don’t be overwhelmed by it!)\, and also get up close and personal with the flora – and maybe some of the fauna – in our neighborhood. \nAges: 13 to adult \nDavid M.
