DESCRIPTION:Harmonica Workshop\nFREE FREE FREE \nPlease register by Thursday\, August 2 to assure you get a harmonica \nMike and Beverly Rogers offer harmonica workshops for the general population as well as special-needs students\, age nine through adult. \nThe students learn a song\, some techniques and they keep their own harmonicas. \nMost students come away with a feeling of accomplishment and self-worth. Attitudes shift in each and every student\, as they become absorbed with the process of entering the world of music! \nMike Rogers has been playing harmonica since the age of fifteen and performs with harmonica and guitar. \nHe draws on forty years of professional musicianship\, fifteen years of teaching secondary education and twenty years of performing in schools from Maine to Georgia. \nMike is joined by his wife Beverly who brings ten years of substitute teaching experience as well as previous work as a children’s storyteller for the public library system in Peach County\, Georgia. \nWednesday\, August 8\n1PM – 2PM\nOlive Pettis Library 36 Mill Village Road\, Goshen\ninfo @863-6921
