DESCRIPTION:Voices from Ukraine: Stories of War and Hope is a riveting original musical theater production where Ukrainian children of war share their stories in their own words. Five young Ukrainian actors take the stage to bring their impactful experiences to life for the audience. DESCRIPTION:The Livery presents MUTU4L\, an acoustic duo made up of Maine native Tyler Levs and Joliet4\, his partner from the Midwest. Veteran independent singer/songwriters and live music streamers\, they met in 2019 during the final round of an online vocal competition. The two quickly became fans of each other’s music\, fostering a supportive friendship through social media and began writing music together through email and Zoom calls. This gradual approach to collaboration was perfect for balancing family priorities and solo careers. It wasn’t until 2023 during a road trip to SXSW in Austin\, that they first began to perform and write songs in person. Recognizing how natural and inspiring their creative process was face to face\, they officially chose a name and began their journey as a duo. \nNow\, Tyler and Joliet are crafting their first album. Though both artists are proficient in full production genres\, they are choosing to focus on an acoustic-driven style that highlights their songwriting\, harmonies and the magic of a more raw sound. Splitting time between New England\, the Midwest\, and virtual meetings\, they are releasing singles on all major streaming platforms while playing small shows in bars\, restaurants\, private parties and weddings. \nFriday\, August 29th\n7:30 pm.
