Seating is assigned by order of reservation and typically with smaller parties seated together. \nBorn and raised in Chicago\, Larry attended High School with John Prine\, and has had a long career as lead guitarist for a variety of groups. Heavily influenced by Dave Van Ronk\, Bob Dylan\, Paul Simon\, and Townes Van Zandt\, Larry embarked upon a solo career as a composer and performer on the acoustic guitar in 2000. \nA Berklee College of Music Alumni\, Larry released two instrumental albums: Cobb Lane in 2000\, followed by his second CD\, Music for the High Country – The Soundtrack of Blowing Rock. The music is a blend of original compositions\, as well as traditional classics\, arranged in Larry’s unique style\, encompassing both his solo acoustic guitar\, and his outstanding chamber ensemble\, known as the Acoustic Earth Orchestra. Music for the High Country has been endorsed by the Chamber of Commerce of Blowing Rock\, NC as their official soundtrack. Most recently Larry has included vocals as a singer/songwriter in a folk/Americana style that has expanded his audience. His recent recording is Covered Bridges and features the latest incarnation of the Acoustic Earth Orchestra. \n

DESCRIPTION:Gather the family\, bundle up and share a New England tradition at Kezar Lake and Muster Field Farm Museum\n~ Admission is free ~\n~ 9:00 am – until the ice is in ~ \nIce cutting by gas powered saw and finished by hand will be demonstrated by volunteers.\nIce harvest will be loaded by our ice block fulcrum onto wagons and vehicles\, then hauled to the Farm. Our Ice House\, c.1890\, will be fully stacked with block ice for use at our summer events. \nRyder Corner School House\, c.1810\, will be warm and welcoming with hot beverages\, homemade baked goods and hot soups. \nAntique cars\, converted into snowmobiles\, will be on display at the farm.
