SUMMARY:Visit the Crowther Memorial Chapel
DESCRIPTION:Hidden in the woods behind Dexter’s Inn lies a 10 foot by 12 foot chapel.  \nBuilt in 1934\, this chapel is a memorial to John Crowther\, a Sunapee boy who died of leukemia at 15 years old.  \nThe chapel is beautiful\, and maintained by the Town of Sunapee. A docent is present during the public visitation hours to describe the history and answer questions. \n11:30am-1:30pm\nSunday June 24th\,\nSunday July 29th\,\nSunday August 26th\nSunday September 30th  \nPark opposite Dexter’s Inn and follow the foot path to the chapel.  \nFor more information call the Sunapee Town Office at 763-2212. \n

DESCRIPTION:On Sept 1st from 11-3 the Inn at Pleasant Lake there is going to be an Art Fest to celebrate the inn’s\n150th Anniversary. \nDuring the event there will also be a Plein air demonstration\, blacksmith demo and\npossibly a weaver. \nThe money raised from the silent auction is generously being donated to benefit Road To Independence‘s farm and bakery programs. \nRTI works with participants who have daily challenges aka special needs. \nIt will be outside\, farmer’s market style and it only cost $10 for artist to set up a booth or table (No commission on art sales).
