DESCRIPTION:On Sept 1st from 11-3 the Inn at Pleasant Lake there is going to be an Art Fest to celebrate the inn’s\n150th Anniversary. \nDuring the event there will also be a Plein air demonstration\, blacksmith demo and\npossibly a weaver. \nThe money raised from the silent auction is generously being donated to benefit Road To Independence‘s farm and bakery programs. \nRTI works with participants who have daily challenges aka special needs. \nIt will be outside\, farmer’s market style and it only cost $10 for artist to set up a booth or table (No commission on art sales). DESCRIPTION:Hidden in the woods behind Dexter’s Inn lies a 10 foot by 12 foot chapel.  \nBuilt in 1934\, this chapel is a memorial to John Crowther\, a Sunapee boy who died of leukemia at 15 years old.  \nThe chapel is beautiful\, and maintained by the Town of Sunapee. SUMMARY:71st Annual Warner Fall Foliage Festival
DESCRIPTION:The 71st Annual Warner Fall Foliage Festival is scheduled during the upcoming Columbus Day Weekend. The festival begins on Friday\, October 5\, when the midway opens from 6 to 9 PM. The DoBros\, a local folkgrass/rock band\, are scheduled to play on the MainStreet Warner Stage from 7:30 to 10 PM. There will be numerous activities and entertainment throughout downtown on Saturday\, October 6\, from 9 AM to 9 PM\, and Sunday\, October 7\, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Parking is $5 and will be at the west end of town\, with free shuttle bus service to and from the festival. \nThe festival’s center will be located downtown Warner around Main Street\, and there will be easy access to the midway\, food tents and outdoors picnicking. As always\, there will be crafters\, a farmers market\, rides\, food\, parades\, road races\, raffles\, music\, country breakfasts and dinners…and much more. \nA renovated location behind The Foothills restaurant will host an Oxen Pull competition on Saturday starting at 9:30 AM. In this same location\, our very popular Woodsmen competition begins on Sunday at 11 AM. \nThe festival is organized by hundreds of local volunteers.
