DESCRIPTION:The Newport Farmers’ Market has been operating since the 1990s on the Town Common in Historic Downtown Newport\, New Hampshire. The market started with only a handful of vendors\, and has grown to about 30 full- and part-time vendors\, making us one of the longest-running farmers’ markets in the state. \nAll of our farm vendors grow their own vegetables\, fruit\, cut flowers and potted plants\, raise their own animals for milk\, eggs\, fleece and meat\, harvest and jar their own honey\, boil their own maple syrup\, and preserve their own produce in jams and pickles. Their farms are located within 50 miles of Newport\, making all of their farms great sources of locally grown and raised food.
